Who We Are

Paradise Valley Produce is a second generation family run farm that has been C.C.O.F. certified Organic since 1978. We grow over 20 varieties of cool weather vegetables on six acres, and 1/2 an acre in apples. The farm is located just two miles from the ocean and borders the Point Reyes National Seashore. Working for many years with the park to restore a Coho Salmon run on our stream, we are the first farm in California to be certified Salmon Safe.  Healthy food and soil is our priority; propagating and using beneficial indigenous microorganisms to sustain our living soil and maintain the nutrient cycle. We make our own compost and microbial brews from plants, fish and kelp extracts. We pride ourselves in working with our natural surroundings to create a healthier and more sustainable future for all.

About the owners

Dennis and Sandy Dierks Started Paradise Valley Produce, one of the first recognized organic farms in Marin county and California for the simple reason of growing healthy food for themselves and the community. Chemicals were never something they wanted near their children or the farm and environment where they live. This choice reflects the vitality of the farm and the food produced there today.
Currently their daughter Sierra and husband Blake manage and run the farm. With a  strong foundation they hope to continue the tradition of growing healthy food in an ethical way. Both strongly believing in the importance of connecting  people with their food they are focused on expanding their farms educational outreach.
